Colourful Jigsaw Linocut Workshop - Saturday 18th April 2026, 11am - 3pm

Workshop Description:

Spend a creative day exploring the fun and vibrant world of jigsaw linocut printmaking in Rowde, near Devizes, Wiltshire. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design, carve, and print a multi-coloured jigsaw-style linocut image, learning key printmaking techniques along the way.

During the day, you’ll cover:

• Designing your jigsaw-style linocut for multiple colour layers
• Safe carving techniques for bold and precise shapes
• Print registration to align paper accurately
• Ink mixing to create vibrant, personalised colours
• Handprinting and/or using the relief press

This workshop is perfect for beginners or those with some printmaking experience. By the end of the day, you’ll leave with a finished multi-coloured linocut print and the confidence to explore this playful technique further.

Outcome: A finished colourful jigsaw linocut print.

You don’t need to bring anything except:

• An apron/old clothes (it can get a little inky!)
• Any sketches or photos you’d like to use for inspiration (these must be your own and not copies)

All printmaking materials and tools will be provided.

☕ Refreshments: Tea, coffee and biscuits are always provided. There will be time for a short break during the session. *Please note - the Café is only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays*

🚗 Free Parking: available nearby, and the venue is fully accessible. If you have any specific needs, just let me know.

Cancellations made at least 7 days before the workshop will receive a full refund.

Unfortunately, I can’t offer refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of the event, but you’re welcome to transfer your place to a friend.
