During the week, you will:

  • Learn bookbinding skills, creating journals, sketchbooks, or artist books
  • Combine drawing and ink experiments into your handmade book
  • Reflect on your creative process and develop ideas for ongoing practice.

By the end of the week, you’ll leave with several handmade sketchbooks or journals, a collection of ink-based drawings, and the skills to continue combining drawing, ink making, and bookbinding independently.

This 1-week immersive course introduces a wide range of linocut approaches, combining traditional and experimental methods to help you develop your own creative style and technical skills.

Over the week, you’ll explore:

  • Multi-plate printing: combining multiple blocks for complex compositions
  • Jigsaw linocut: creating playful, interlocking designs
  • Chine collé: incorporating delicate papers into prints
  • Mixed media approaches: combining linocut with drawing, collage, or painting

The course provides a supportive, hands-on environment, encouraging experimentation and personal expression. By the end of the week, you'll will leave with a range of original linocut prints, knowledge of multiple techniques, and the confidence to continue printmaking independently or in the studio.

Focussing on collagraph, monoprint, and mixed media printmaking, incorporating collage, pressed flowers, and natural materials - this week-long course explores texture, layering, and experimental approaches, encouraging you to combine traditional and contemporary printmaking with natural elements to create unique, personal prints.

Over the week, you will explore:

  • Collagraph printing: building textured plates from card, paper, and natural materials
