Course Description:

Time to Draw in the Outdoors: 3-day course for nature-inspired making, drawing and printing!

  1. Nature’s Own Ink - join me for a day of oak gall foraging and ink alchemy!
  2. Make your Sketchbook - join me for a day of paper folding and binding!
  3. For the love of Trees - join me for a day of tree drawing and printing, using your inks and sketchbooks!

If you can’t attend all 3 workshops, that’s okay - book individually or pick and choose. This half-term course is all about slow-making, connecting and embracing the present. Held at my studio and within the grounds at The Mind Tree Cafe, you’ll be able to fall into a more natural rhythm and enjoy the peace and quiet that creative headspace brings.

Once you book your place, you’ll receive an email with more details about the workshop(s). All workshops are accessible and suitable for all abilities, skills - recommended for ages 16 years and above.

πŸ“… Date & Time: in October Half-term week

  1. Nature’s Own Ink, Thursday 30th October 10am - 3pm- join me for a day of oak gall foraging and ink alchemy
  2. Make Books, Friday 31st October 10am - 3pm- join me for a day of paper folding and binding to create your own sketchbook
  3. For the love of Trees, Saturday 1st November 10am -3pm- join me for a day of tree drawing and printing, using your handmade inks and beautiful bound drawing books.

If you can't attend all 3 workshops, don't worry, you can book the workshops individually.

You don’t need to bring anything except:

  • An apron/old clothes (it can get a little inky!)

All materials and tools will be provided.

β˜• Refreshments: If your workshop is on a Friday, please bring a packed lunch. Tea, coffee and biscuits are always provided. There will be time for a short break during the session. *Please note - the Café is only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays*

πŸš— Free Parking: available nearby, and the venue is fully accessible. If you have any specific needs, just let me know.

Cancellations & Refunds:
If you cannot attend, please let me know as soon as possible.
Cancellations made at least 7 days before the workshop will receive a full refund.
Unfortunately, I can’t offer refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of the event, but you’re welcome to transfer your place to a friend.
