Workshop Description:

Discover the joy of monoprinting with a Gelli Plate in this fun and hands-on 2-hour Saturday workshop in Rowde, near Devizes, Wiltshire. Perfect for beginners, painters, collagers or anyone curious about printmaking, you’ll explore layered textures, stencils, marks, and colour to create unique, one-of-a-kind prints.

Through guided exercises and playful experimentation, you’ll learn how to use the Gelli Plate to print bold shapes, subtle textures, and multi-layered compositions. No previous experience is needed, just bring your creativity and a willingness to experiment.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a collection of original prints to take home and new techniques to continue exploring at your own pace.

This workshop is accessible and suitable for all abilities and skills - recommended for ages 16 years and above. Once you book your place, you’ll receive an email with more details about the workshop.

You don’t need to bring anything except:

• An apron/old clothes (it can get a little inky!)
• Any sketches or photos you’d like to use for inspiration (these must be your own and not copies)
• You are welcome to bring your own gelliplate or kit if you have one

All printmaking materials and tools will be provided.

☕ Refreshments: Tea, coffee and biscuits are always provided. *Please note - the Café is only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays*

🚗 Free Parking: available nearby, and the venue is fully accessible. If you have any specific needs, just let me know.

If you cannot attend, please let me know as soon as possible.

Cancellations made at least 7 days before the workshop will receive a full refund.

Unfortunately, I can’t offer refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of the event, but you’re welcome to transfer your place to a friend.
