Course Description:

If, like me, you are dreading the darker evenings approaching and you’d like to try something new or carve out some creative time, why not join on my next 'Linocut Beginners' Monday evening course.

During this 4 week course (3-hour weekly sessions) you’ll grasp the basics of linocutting in a relaxed and friendly way. You’ll be introduced to the tools and how they can be used, mark-making, designing for linocut and how to make successful prints by hand, as well as an introduction to using the albion relief press.

Once you book your place you’ll receive an email with more details about the course.

This course is accessible and suitable for all abilities and skills - recommended for ages 18 years and above. If you have any questions about this course please get in touch.

📍 Venue: Hannah Cantellow Studio (inside the Mind Tree Cafe)
📅 Date & Time: Monday 24th November 2025, 6 - 9pm ends on Monday 15th December 2025

You will need to bring:

• Any sketches or photos you’d like to use for inspiration (these must not be copies and must be your own images)
• Warm layers and sturdy shoes.

All printmaking materials and tools will be provided.

If you cannot attend, please let me know as soon as possible. Cancellations made at least 7 days before the workshop will receive a full refund. Unfortunately, I can’t offer refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of the event, but you’re welcome to transfer your place to a friend.
