Course Description:

If, like me, you are dreading the darker evenings approaching and you’d like to try something new or carve out some creative time, why not join me online ‘for the love of lino’. This weekly evening class can be taken from the comfort of your own home. Join me live from the print studio here in Wiltshire and discover the mindful practice of linocut.

All sessions will be delivered online live via Zoom - sessions will not be recorded.

As someone who understands the intense effects of anxiety when in groups online, if you would feel more comfortable attending these sessions with your camera off please pop me an email. This way we can meet 1-1 online first and when you come along to join the live session we will have already met and introduced ourselves.

During this 4 week course (3-hour weekly sessions) you’ll grasp the basics of linocutting in a relaxed and friendly way. You’ll be introduced to the tools and how they can be used, mark-making, designing for linocut and how to make successful prints by hand.

Once you book your place you’ll receive an email with more details about the course and the link to join via Zoom.

This course is accessible and suitable for all abilities and skills - recommended for ages 18 years and above. If you have any questions about this course please get in touch.

Important Information:

📅 Date & Time: Tuesday 18th November 2025, 6 - 9pm ends on Tuesday 9th December 2025

You will need your own:

• Linocutting tools
• Linoleum (softcut or grey lino with hessian backing)
• Drawing pencils
• Tracing paper
• Any sketches or photos you’d like to use for inspiration (these must not be copies and must be your own images)

All printmaking materials and tools will be discussed and you can order what you need when you need it.

Cancellations & Refunds:

If you cannot attend, please let me know as soon as possible. Cancellations made at least 7 days before the workshop will receive a full refund. Unfortunately, I can’t offer refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of the event, but you’re welcome to transfer your place to a friend.
